Investment committee
Members present their research, discuss the risks and defend a recommendation.

The committee is where a case is decided. Members present the thesis, the numbers behind it and the risks they see, then answer questions from the other members and from guests.
The format is deliberately plain. A short memo, a clear recommendation and the two or three points on which the case would fail.
Decisions are recorded so that they can be reviewed later against what actually happened.
